• Are you grieving the loss of a loved one?

  • Struggling with infertility?

  • Do you have serious health concerns?

  • SUFFERING FROM ABORTION GRIEF?

  • Are you experiencing an empty nest, career change or retirement?

  • HAVE YOU HAD TO SAY GOODBYE TO A BELOVED PET?

  • All of these are experiences  of Loss which cause emotional suffering.

Are you experiencing loss and grief in your body as a physical  pain? Are you on your own struggling to handle changes that have happened in your life because people have moved on and you don't think they want to listen anymore? Unfortunately as a broken heart has no broken bones to signify you are still wounded, people tend to forget and go back to leading their lives leaving you alone to suffer in silence. Feeling the loss of a loved one as a  physical hurt is a normal reaction to an abnormal event.  It is normal to find it hard to start living in a new way.  Talking about your loss and grief and how you are handling these changes in your life can help you acknowledge and express mixed emotions such as  sadness, regret, relief, anxiety, stress, anger, depression, helplessness or low self-esteem. I have worked with people who have found inner healing through therapy. I have seen them turn outward and pay their abundance forward by investing in causes that have great meaning for them. I have seen those whose lives have been devastated by the premature loss of their partner begin to enjoy living again and find new love. You don't have to be alone in your loss, contact me to learn how acknowledging, expressing and working through suffering can lead to a positive life transformation.

In sessions you will experience:

  • A safe place to find your voice and  tell your unique story

  • Acknowledgement and compassion

  • A sense of self awareness and self acceptance

  • A greater feeling of empowerment as you regain control over your life

The most authentic thing about us is our capacity to create, to overcome, to endure, to transform, to love and be greater than our suffering

My Approach

I apply expertise gained through grief and loss training at the Bill Wilson Center for Living with Dying in Santa Clara. In addition to talk therapy I use a variety of approaches tailored to your needs and comfort such as art therapy, play therapy, poem-making, mindfulness and imagery.

My passion is the use of symbology and metaphor to delve deeper into unconscious processes.
